Lauren is the heart and lens behind Photos by Lolo B. Raised in Iowa, she made her first big move at 15 to Minneapolis—where the city energy sparked a deeper creative fire. After a short chapter in St. Louis in her late 20s, she returned to Minneapolis at 32, camera still in hand and passion stronger than ever.

Her love of photography started the first time she held a disposable camera—snapping everything in sight like her life depended on it. An 8th grade photography class sealed the deal. By age 26, she had turned that lifelong hobby into her business, pouring heart, humor, and hustle into every session she booked.

One of Lauren’s most cherished memories is seeing her grandmother light up with emotion when gifted a family photo. The joy in her eyes, the tears, the deep connection—it stuck with Lauren as a powerful reminder of why photography matters. It's more than just pictures. It’s proof that we were here, loved, and seen.

Now, Lauren brings that same intention to every session. Whether she's wrangling toddlers for a family portrait, hyping you up during a boudoir shoot (yes, she goes from wholesome to saucy with ease), or working with small business owners to sharpen their brand identity, she does it with infectious energy. Fun, talkative, and always up for a laugh—Lauren makes sure her clients feel celebrated and confident, no matter the occasion.
